Italian official for a just ME peace

The Italian deputy minister of defense Filippo Bersini has asserted the need of reaching a just and comprehensive peace in the Middle East based on international legitimacy resolution and the land for peace formula. He stressed that such a peace will have a positive impact on the stability of the world as a whole.

In a statement to the Egyptian Middle East News Agency MENA, the Italian deputy defense minister strongly rejected the expansion of the current war launched against Afghanistan to cover other states.

The Italian official linked between the question of fighting terrorism, solving the problem of the Arab- Israeli conflict through reaching a genuine and just peace.
