Pentagon's plan to eliminate terrorism
The Israeli daily Yadhout Ahronot issued on Sunday said that the US is preparing for the coming phase in a war against terrorism and that decision- makers in Washington are studying the possibility of moving towards the greater plan by the end of the week and that the US had sent 3000 soldiers from Saudi Arabia to Kuwait.
The paper added that the great plan is a set one to eliminate terrorism organizations wherever they do exist and to strike countries giving protection to terrorism, noting that this plan is backed by the US Pentagon and defense departments but opposed by the US state department. On the other hand, a source at the US Pentagon said that if the Iraqi President Saddam Hussein will make any move on the ground, he will be then the next to be attacked.
However, it is widely believed in the US that Saddam Hussein will try to work against the American forces or against Kuwait in order to expressed his support to the Taliban movement, as the Israeli paper claimed.
