Al-Hariri's statement to Le Figaro
The Lebanese prime minister Rafiq al-Hariri said that the " Arab street" is boiling because of what is taking place in the West Bank and Gaza, rather than because of what is taking place in Afghanistan.
In a statement to the French daily Le Figaro issued on Monday, al-Hariri added that the west has to understand that even if Arab regimes are differ from those in the west, however, the public opinion in these Arab countries started to be taken into consideration.
Al-Hariri continued that Arab regimes which support the US in its battle against terrorism will face serious problems internally if nothing will be done to settle the Palestinian- Israeli conflict.
