Floods victims in Algeria tolled 651

An official Algerian source said on Wednesday that some 651 persons including 604 in the capital Algiers were killed because of the bad weather conditions which hit the north of Algeria on Saturday.

The source added that the storm also resulted in wounding 318 persons including 300 in the capital Algiers.

Press reports in Algeria said that this number is expected to increase within the few coming days to more than 1000 killing because the process of searching for bodied has not finished yet.
