Al-Dawoudi, member at the UN committee for the international law

Syria's candidate Riyadh al-Dawoudi, the legal advisor at the Syrian foreign ministry has won the membership of the UN committee on the international law which was held at the UN General Assembly in New York on Wednesday.

Dr. al-Dawoudi's election came after Syria's winning of a non- permanent member at the UN security council came as a reiteration of the great respect Syria enjoys at the international community and its commitment to the rules of the international legitimacy and the rules of the international law.
