After the American call to pullout its forces, Israel deploys land- to land missiles in Gaza
Israel on Tuesday installed batteries of ground- to ground missiles to the north and south of Gaza and asked foreigners to leave.
Meantime, the two Palestinians Talaat Jaber ( 19 year old) of the Palestinian national security and Bader al-Shaer were killed as a result of the Israeli bombardment of Toulkarem. The Palestinian teenager Naser Hani Qaraan ( 13 year old) was killed when the Israeli tanks and bulldozers broke into Qalqilya and demolished a house for the Palestinian " martyr" Saeed al-Houtari who recently carried out a suicide attack in Tel Aviv.
The series of Israeli breaking in into the Palestinian villages and cities has continued while the Israeli officials escalated their threats and rejecting calls addressed to them to pullout from the areas supervised by the Palestinian Authority.
The Israeli forces broke into areas in Rafah and destroyed several houses and 12 trade shops.
In Bethlehem and al-Ezza camp clashes took place between the Israeli forces and the Palestinians during which scores of Arabs were wounded while thousands of people from Bethlehem and Beit Jala held demonstration in rejection of the israeli occupation.
Meanwhile two Israeli ministers underestimated the importance of the pressures made by the US against Israel after Washington has called for immediate withdrawal of the Israeli forces from sectors that fall under the Palestinian self- rule. The Israeli minister without portfolio Dani Nafe said:" I do not think there are American pressures, rather differences in view points and Israel is to decide its own security."
Nafe claimed that the daily Israeli attacks against the Palestinians is a service offered by Israel to the US administration in the framework of its fighting of terrorism.
In Washington, the US on Tuesday called on Israel to withdraw from the Palestinian areas in which the Israeli forces incurred.
The spokesman for the White House Ari Fliescher said that the US President George Bush will personally convey the American position to the Israeli foreign minister Shimon Peres and will call on " Israel" to pull back from the Palestinian areas.
