Turkish president meets OIC secretary general

President of Turkey Ahmet Necdet Sezer, conferred in Ankara Wednesday with secretary general of the Organization of Islamic Conference (OIC), Abdelouhaed Belkziz. The OIC chief, who is on an official visit to Turkey, also conferred with minister of state, Mehmet Kececiler, and is scheduled to meet the Prime Minister, Bulent Ecevit, and the foreign minister Ismail Cem.

Belkziz and President Sezer are to co-chair Saturday the opening session of the annual meeting of the OIC standing committee on economic and commercial cooperation.
