Moussa visits Washington
Well-informed diplomatic sources at the UN said that it is expected that the Secretary general of the Arab League AL Amr Moussa will pay a quick visit to Washington on the sideline of his expected visit to New York in November to attend deliberations of the UN General Assembly in its 56th session.
Moussa will be also meeting with the US secretary of state Colin Powell to discuss various debated Arab and international issues at the international arena and to discuss the extent of seriousness in statements made by the US President George Bush in working to establish the Palestinian state and implement UN resolutions 242, 338 provide for the Israeli withdrawal from all occupied Arab territories.
