Israeli minister rejects any US initiative to solve the Palestinian issue

The Israeli infrastructure minister Ivigdore Libeirman has called for rejecting any American initiative aiming at solving the Palestinian issue. In a press conference he held on Monday and quoted by the Israeli Hebrew Language radio, Libeirman said that the Israeli government and its Premiere Ariel Sharon have to find out means to foil any American initiative to this effect and expressed readiness to get involved in a bitter conflict with the US President Bush's administration who supports the establishment of the Palestinian state.
