Israeli security official to visit the US

Israeli political sources said that the chairman of the Israeli general security department Ave Dikhter will visit during the few coming days the USA.

The Israeli radio on Saturday quoted the sources as saying the Dikhter will meet with high ranking American officials to brief them on what is going on in the Palestinian territories.

The sources indicated that Dikhter will try to convince the American officials that the Palestinian authority is not working enough to " oppress" the Intifada and preventing demonstrations carried out by the Palestinians against striking Afghanistan.
