Arab ambassador in Prague concerned over hostilities against Arabs in the Czech

Originally published

The council of the Arab ambassadors and Arab diplomatic missions accredited in Prague expressed concern over the behavior of the majority of the Czech mass media and its avoidance to trace reality in holding equal between terrorism on the one hand and Arabs and Muslims on the other and also regarding the tough security measures taken against Arab and Muslims residents in the Czech.

This was expressed during a meeting held by a delegation representing the Arab diplomatic missions and ambassadors council with the two heads of the Senate and the Parliament Peter Betheart and Vatislav Clause in Prague.

Betheart stressed that what happened in the US was not an islamic conflict against Christianity or the conflict of two cultures, noting that terrorism has reasons and its springs should be understood.

For his part Clause called for avoiding acts of hostilities against Arabs and Muslims, while the Arab diplomats stressed the need to make a distinction between terrorism and Islam and not to hold Arabs and terrorism into equal footing.
