Iranian- Gulf coordination

Originally published

Diplomatic sources have stressed that Tehran will shortly delegate to Saudi Arabia the secretary general of the higher council of the Iranian national security Hassan Rouhani to hold talks dealing with developments and the US preparations to wage a military campaign against Afghanistan.

Rouhani's visit to Saudi Arabia, according to news reports, falls in the course of an intensive Iranian political move towards the Arab and Islamic states to coordinate stances and withstand all challenges and implications of the crisis resulting from the attacks at Washington and New York.

Worthy mentioning that Iran refused the US leadership of the anti- terrorism campaign and stressed that the UN has to lead such a campaign.
