Annan: Arab region needs international united efforts
The secretary general of the United Nations Kofi Annan has stressed that the only way to solve the crisis in the Arab region is to maintain united efforts by the international community as a whole.
In an interview with the Austrian magazine " Profile" issued today ( Monday), the UN chief said that the situation in the region raises hopelessness, but there should be efforts to find out a political solution for the crisis. He added it will be excellent for the UN to have its own special forces so as to be able to take own decision if it will have enough capability to effectively interfere in the crisis.
