Syrian- Kuwaiti ministerial committee stresses the revitalization of economic cooperation, investment

Meetings of the joint Syrian- Kuwaiti ministerial committee took place chaired by the deputy premier for economic affairs Khaled Raad and the Kuwaiti minister of finance, planning and administrative development Youssef Hamad al-Ibrahim.

The two sides reviewed trade, economic and investment cooperation relations between the two states and what has been so far completed from the decisions of the 7th session of the committee.

The two sides also discussed means of strengthening economic relations and the proposed mechanism to revitalize these relations for the interests of the two states and finding out appropriate solutions to hindering obstacles.

They also discussed means of financing the economic development projects in Syria and the contribution of the Kuwaiti Fund for development in these projects.

The two sides debated projects and agreements that are to be signed in the coming session and also cooperation between businessmen in the two states.
