Lebanon: UN screening of scenes followed the arrest of three Israeli soldiers is unprecedented incident
Lebanese official sources announced on Saturday in Beirut that the Lebanese authorities refused an offer proposed by the UN to see a video tape which was pictured by a soldier in the Indian unity of UNIFIL working in South Lebanon in September 2000, the next day following the operation of arresting the Israeli soldiers in Shebaa farms when members of the Lebanese resistance had restored back a car which was broken in the previous day of the operation inside the Lebanese territories.
The Lebanese official sources explained that the Lebanese authorities considered screening this video tape a grave unprecedented event and that transferring information from inside the Lebanese territories to the "Israeli enemy" constitutes a violation to the mission of the UN troops in South Lebanon.
