Israel continues assassinating Palestinians
The Israeli forces on Sunday assassinated one of the leading figures of the Palestinian Fatah movement Osama Jawabera ( 29 year old) and wounded two children when a bomb the Israeli forces implanted in a public telephone complex went off in Nablus.
The Palestinian authority stressed that the assassination of Jawabra proved the failure of the International efforts, especially the recommendations of the Michael's committee to halt the confrontation in the occupied territories.
The secretary general of the Palestinian authority council Ahmad Abdul Rahman said that this crime was an implementation to the decision of the Sharon's government in pursuing the policy of assassination and that Sharon uses the settlers as a military tool to launch attacks against the Palestinians.
On Sunday the Palestinian young man Muhammad Walid Hamdan ( 24 year old) from Khan Younis died because of wounds he had by the Israeli forces while another palestinian was wounded by the Israeli soldiers in al-Galilee area in the territories of 1948 and the Israeli forces arrested 62 Arab citizens from Jenin.
Meantime, the Israeli prime minister Ariel Sharon renewed his threats against the Palestinians, noting that " it is impossible for Israel to embark on the policy of self- control."
Sharon called on the US and the International community to resort to great pressures on the Palestinian Authority in order to halt the Intifada and threatened to liquidate all officials at the Palestinian authority in case pressures to halt the Intifada will fail.
At the Palestinian level, the Intifada united leadership announced next Friday as a day of denunciation and protest against the continued aggressions mounted by the Israeli settlers against the Palestinians and stressed that the Palestinians will not any agreement that will contain the Intifada and eliminate its activists. The higher committee of the national and Islamic national forces stressed firm commitment to national unity and continued Intifada, stressing rejection to the policy of Judaization and annexation pursued by Israel.
