Palestinian demonstrations against Tenet document

News reports from the occupied Palestinian territories said that thousands of Palestinian demonstrated on Friday in protest of the "George Tenet document," and burnt American and Israeli flags and chanted slogans commemorating the continuity of the Intifada. George Tenet is the director of the US CIA.

The demonstrations covered the cities of Nablus, Qalqilya, Ramullah, Toulkarem, Halhoul, Beithlehem and al-Khuder village and in the cities of Gaza and Khan Younis and the demonstrations developed into clashes with the Israeli forces by stones and the Palestinian police, as a result interfered to prevent Qalqilya demonstration from reaching an Israeli military barrier after members of the barrier opened fire and tear gas bombs. Some 25 Palestinians and a Greek journalist were wounded during the confrontation.

The Palestinian Intifada youths attacked the Israeli patrols by stones in Hebron and several of them were wounded as a result.
