Hani al-Hassan and relations with Syria

Member of the central committee of the "Fatah" Movement Hani al-Hassan has said:" we need to crystallize the relationship with Syria because the problem with her ( Syria) is the problem of conviction towards monitoring the conflict. We appreciate Syria's statement to the US secretary of state, we can not start the Syrian- Israeli track and stab the Palestinian Intifada from the back."

In a statement al-Hassan made in Abu Dhabi on Saturday, he added that Syria wants to lay a paper which determines joint policies, but she ( Syria) has to understand that her position differs from that of the Palestinian Authority.

He stressed that Israel does not want peace with the Palestinians similar to its agreements with Egypt and Jordan, noting that Israel wants to make the Palestinians a follower for it at the security, economic and political levels.
