On al-Bashir- Mubarak summit

The summit of President Hosni Mubarak of Egypt and the Sudanese President Omar al-Bashir which will be held in the mid of next week will concentrate on two main files: the internal reconciliation in Sudan and relations between the two countries.

Reliable sources indicated that Mubarak and al-Bashir will discuss the developments of the Sudanese national reconciliation in light of the joint Egyptian- Libyan initiative as well as the new American proposals concerning Sudan.

Mubarak will also brief his Sudanese counterpart with the results of his visit to Washington and the talks he held there especially in light of the new American orientation towards Sudan.

The file of bilateral relations will include numerous talks and it is also expected to implement projects that agreed upon during the meetings of the ministers in the areas of the economy, investment, agriculture and the industry, besides other agreements that will facilitate the transport of persons, commodities and capitals between the two countries.
