Sudanese president to visit Egypt

The Sudanese minister of justice Ali Muhammad Othman has announced that the Sudanese President Omar Hassan al-Bashir will shortly arrive in Cairo to visit Egypt at the invitation extended to him from President Hosni Mubarak, during their recent participation at the recent Amman Summit.

Al-Ahram quoted minister Othman as saying to the paper that normalization of Sudanese- American relations is in the forefront of the topics al-Bashir will discuss with Mubarak.

The Sudanese minister added that the two presidents will also review regional and international bilateral issues which need to be coordinated between the two states.
