Football: Morocco's Cuelho convokes team for world cup qualifier
A 20-player Moroccan team started this Monday in Rabat a three-day training to prepare for a World cup qualifier Friday in Algiers against Algeria.
Morocco's Portuguese coach, Humberto Cuelho, maintained unchanged the team that beat last week Namibia 3-0 in the world cup heats.
Striker Walid Ragragui of French premiere league of Toulouse will be back against Algeria. He was absent in the match against Namibia.
Morocco, which co-leads group C with Senegal with 9 points, needs a victory in Algiers to stay in the race for the 2002 world cup.
Senegal will make a perilous trip to Cairo where it will play Egypt (6 points), which still vies for the World Cup ticket.
Namibia is exempt this week.
