One Palestinian killed in confrontations with the Israelis
Clashes continued on Monday in the Palestinian territories and one Palestinian was killed by the Israeli bullets as the Palestinian Intifada youths attacked two military positions for the Israeli positions near Ramullah and another position near Tallet al- Rameidah in Hebron.
The Palestinian youth Teiser al-Ammouri was killed during the Israeli bombardment of the houses of Beitonia.
Municipality chairman of Beitonia town Arafat Khalaf said that "the town is in a state of real war following the Israeli random and brutal bombardment carried out by heavy artillery."
Khalaf added the Israeli bombardment of the town targeted a headquarters for the guards of the chairman of the Palestinian Authority Yasser Arafat, known as " force 17," adding the Israeli bombardment also targeted a female secondary school and several civilian offices and heavy damages were inflicted.
News reports said the Israeli forces piled up more soldiers and armed settlers to continue "the operations of repression and killing and that the Israeli army is preparing to spend more time inside the Palestinian areas in the West Bank and Gaza."
The Israeli forces also closed Carne crossing with Gaza under the pretext of repeated Palestinian attacks at it.
Meantime, the secretary general of the Arab league Ismat Abdul Miguid asked the Islamic bank for Development to quickly transfer a sum of $ 180 million for the Palestinian Authority to support its budget in implementation of the resolution of the recent Arab summit recently held in Amman.
