Confrontations continue between the Israeli forces and the Palestinians
Confrontations continue in the occupied Arab territories between the Palestinian Intifada youths and the Israeli occupation forces in which Israel used heavy tanks and armored vehicles, resulted in more casualties in the lines of the unarmed Palestinians, their houses and properties.
Eye-witnesses said that Palestinian citizens were strongly wounded as a result of the Israeli bombardment of the Israeli tanks against the Palestinian villages close to Natsareim settlement and the Palestinian youths retaliated by throwing explosives and stones at the Israeli patrol in the surrounding of the two Israeli settlements of " Bsaghout and Natsareim" near Rafah and against an Israeli position in Ghouse Katieve settlement.
Three Palestinians were wounded in the confrontations that took place in Gaza, and the Israeli forces opened its fire to disperse a student demonstration in al-Khalil ( Hebron) in which the Palestinian youths closed the road to Bethlehem in the West Bank.
Confrontation also erupted between the Israeli soldiers and al-Aroub university students who demonstrated on Sunday demanding the lift of the siege from their cities and villages, while the students of Gaza demonstrated at Erez barrier, condemning the Israeli brutal crimes.
At least six Palestinians were wounded including one infant, by the Israeli army bullet at al-Khuder town near Bethlehem. Eye- witnesses and medical sources said that Amani Ghneim ( 18 months old) was hit by a rubber bullet in her front and that she was admitted to al-Hussein hospital in Beit Jala city.
Ghneim was hit when the Israeli soldiers opened fire at Arab youths who were throwing at them stones at one entrance of the town which overlooks a ring- road constructed by Israel to serve the settlers.
While al-Nasera city witnessed similar demonstration, the Palestinian Intifada youths assassinated one collaborator with the Israeli forces, named Mamoun Abdul latif Freij and he is from Toulkarem. A statement following the killing of Freij stressed determination to get rid off the Palestinian people from hirelings to israel.
