Syrian source and the Israeli warning

The Israeli Hebrew- language radio on Wednesday quoted a well-informed Syrian source as saying that the US secretary of state Colen Powel did not convey to Syria any Israeli warning concerning attacking and bombardment of Syrian targets in Lebanon if Syria will work to control the Hizbullah.

The radio correspondent for Arabic affairs Areih Gouse that Syria has not yet answered the request given by Powell, including that President al-Assad will abide by putting the pipeline used by Iraq to transport its oil to the Syrian ports under the supervision of the UN.
