Sharon threatens Syria

The London- based al-Hayat daily said in its Friday's issue quoting American sources in a statement to the paper that the Israeli prime minister Ariel Sharon sent threats to Syria in case the Hizbullah party makes operations in South Lebanon.

These forces did not indicate other details, but added that Sharon also threatened the Palestinian President Yasser Arafat of preventing him from entering the Palestinian territories if the uprising continues.
