Yemen and the US to continue good relations

The Yemeni government on Thursday stressed its determination to work for improving its relations with the US under the new American administration.

News reports quoted the Yemeni foreign minister Abdul Qader Bajmal as saying in press statements issued by the Yemeni daily " September 26" issued on Thursday that the Yemeni Republic is intending to preserve the good relations linked it to Washington and will seek to strengthen these relations with the administration of President George Bush, the son.

Worthy mentioning that Yemen and the US are making joint investigations to unmask the implications of the attack which targeted the US warship USS Cole in Aden port on October 12, 2000.
