Originally published

The Moroccan employers' association La Confederation GÈnérale des Entreprises du Maroc (CGEM) has called all Moroccan enterprises to participate in the operation to raise 5 million dollars to assist Palestinians.

The CGEM recalled in a release that it decided to collect 5 million dollars to help the Palestinians workers and farmers, victim of the blockade decreed by the Israeli army for months.

To ensure success to this emergency humanitarian action, the CGEM conducts the operation, launched on January 16, in cooperation with the social welfare fund "Caisse Nationale de Securité Sociale" that will levy 50 DH (about $ 5) per salary. The levied amount is paid by the enterprise.

The professional grouping of Morocco's banks (GPBM) is also participating in the operation seeing to it that the collected funds be quickly deposited in the bank accounts opened to this effect.
