Morocco made historical decisions in favor of Palestinian people, Erekat said
Palestinian chief negotiator Saeb Erekat said the kingdom made "historical decisions" in favor of the Palestinian people. Erekat is in Washington to resume talks with Israel.
In a statement aired Monday by the TVM television channel, Erekat recalled major decisions made by the late King Hassan II in upholding Palestinian rights at the head of the Al Quds Committee now chaired by King Mohammed VI. Morocco, he said, plays a crucial role in favor of the Palestinian people both through unconditional support to the cause and privileged relations the kingdom has with the United States and other countries.
