Algerian measures to ensure the safety of Russian workers

Russian foreign ministry sources said that the bodies of 4 Russian who were killed in Algiers on Monday who were working in al-Hajjar Metal complex.

The official spokesman for the Russian foreign ministry said in a statement on Tuesday that measures are being taken to ensure the security of Russian citizens working in Algiers.

The spokesman added that the Russian foreign minister Igore Ivanov stressed a telephone call on late Monday evening with his Algerian counterpart Abdul Aziz Balhad the need of making necessary steps to carry out precise investigations in this incident.
