Jordanian King confers with Israeli minister of Justice
The Jordanian royal court said on Tuesday that King Abdullah II of Jordan received on Tuesday in Amman the Israeli minister of Justice Yusi Belin who conveyed to him a message from the Israeli prime minister Ehud Barak.
He same source explained that King Abdullah and Belin exchanged during the meeting view points on condition of the Palestinian- Israeli negotiations.
This meeting, however, comes at a time when two Israeli and Palestinian delegations are preparing to make separate talks with the US administration in Washington with the aim to resume peace negotiations suspended since months.
Barak delegated Belin to Jordan and Yusi Sarid, the leader of the secular Merits left party to Cairo to hold talks with the Egyptian President Muhammad Hosni Mubarak.
