King Mohammed Meets President Yasser Arafat

Morocco's King Mohammed VI, accompanied by prince Moulay Rachid, met here Tuesday at the royal palace before the fast-breaking meal Palestinian president Yasser Arafat. The king later held private talks with President Arafat before inviting him and his party to the "Iftar" attended by premier Abderrahmane Youssoufi, cabinet members and the king's advisers.

After the fast-breaking repast, King Mohammed VI and prince Moulay Rachid saw president Arafat off.
