Expansion expected in the Syrian National Progressive Front

The Paris- based al-Muharrir news weekly said in its recent issue issued on Friday, quoting political observers in Damascus that they expect the Regional leadership of the Baath Arab Socialist Party to issue decisions provide for expanding the political base for working in the framework of the National Progressive Front, noting that this will be done by the " Syrian Socialist Progressive Party " joining the Front's membership.

The weekly added that observers also expect other parties to also join the Front if necessary conditions are provided in that the political life is enriched by " others' views" in the framework of the national work.

The weekly added that the observers indicate that these decisions reflect to a large extent the stability of political and social conditions in Syria as well as the confidence entrusted in the Syrian regime and the Syrian regime confidence entrusted in it and its self- ability to lead the change.
