Arab finance ministers to meet on supporting the Palestinian uprising

The Arab ministers of finance will convene their meeting called upon by the recent extraordinary Cairo summit conference on November 16 at the headquarters of the Arab League in order to discuss means of implementing this decision on providing material support for the Palestinian people and their uprising.

In a statement, an official source at the Arab League AL said that the conference will discuss means of allotting financial resources to the two Funds for backing Jerusalem and the uprising agreed upon by the summit. A sum of US $ 200 million was allotted for the Intifada's Fund for the families and children of the Palestinian martyrs who were killed in the Intifada which a sum of US $ 800 million was allotted for projects to preserve the holy sites in Jerusalem.
