Dental-care roving unit for needy children

A dental-care roving unit will be touring, as of this week, orphanages and associations in charge of needy children throughout the kingdom. The campaign has been made possible thanks to the Moroccan association of benevolent dentists "Childhood Smile" and contributions from Japan and Canada, the association chairwoman said.

While the unit action will obviously focus on centers in Casablanca in a first stage, the association will be trying to raise more funds for similar action in other cities and rural areas. "Childhood Smile" set up in 1994 to restore smile to needy children provides care, medecine and education in mouth and teeth hygiene.
