New Syrian governors take oath

In the presence of President Bashar al-Assad four new Syrian governors on Monday took their oath of office. They are Sami al-Saleh the governor of Deir ezz Zour, Saaed Aqil the governor of Hama, Faisal Qasem the governor of al-Raqq and Husam al-Hakim the governor of Homs.

Following the taking oath ceremony, the President received each of the new governors and provided them with his directives.
