French travel agencies hold congress in Morocco

France's national union of travel agencies will hold its 43rd congress next January 24-27 in the Atlantic southern resort city of Agadir.

A statement of Moroccan carrier Royal Air Maroc said the decision to hold the French tour operators congress in Morocco is part of a series of trade and economic partnership agreements concluded between RAM and the French travel professionals.

The encounter will also help boost the city of Agadir as a preferred bound.

The Union musters over 1,320 tour operators, 3,600 agencies and accounts for 80% of the trade turnover.
