GMPCS and Globalstar services made available in Morocco

The national telecom regulation agency "ANRT" passed in Casablanca Tuesday an agreement with the firm "TE.SA.M-Maroc" for the installation and exploitation in Morocco of public communications networks via satellites of the GMPCS type, the firm announced.

TE.SA-Maroc, a branch of the TESAM Sas firm (France Telecom 51% -Alcatel 49 %), said a press-release, is allowed to start immediately exploitation of the Globalstar service.
