God is Good, God is Goodness

Bear with this simple silly story.

I bought a horse from a lady. She was selling the horse that belonged to her daughter who is no longer living with her. I was assured that the horse was sound in body, but it turned out that the horse was just checked recently in the town and diagnosed as not in good condition. Human reason demands that thinking be done according to probabilities. Accordingly, it is most likely (probable) that the seller of the horse new its condition well. This would cause a human being to doubt the honesty of another human being, the seller. Normal human interaction can cause doubt to arise.

But the seller can be truly unaware of the allegations as there can be other explanations. But the bottom line is that human thinking has doubt as a component in it.

God's way require us not to make assumptions (probabilities), as these would be considered judgments (Isaiah, Jesus Christ). Therefore, God's way does not allow for human-type-thinking that deals with probabilities or assumptions about guilt or innocence. So in order to think as God calls on us to do, then we have to abandon our way of thinking and way of dealing with one another. The two ways of reasoning are not reconcilable. Therefore, I am suppose to not even suspect the horse seller for misleading, despite all. I am not to judge. I am even called on to love the horse seller.

Therefore, human reason cannot be used with God's way unless the portion of the human reason that deals with probabilities is removed. Probabilities are about doubt. Therefore, human reason must lose doubt for it to become compatible with God's way. When doubt is removed, what is left are the facts known to oneself by logic from facts, or things learned by faith.

Learning by faith is taught to those who do not have the faculties of logic developed and who do not know many of the facts. Children are taught by faith. But when children grow, they must relearn by logic that which they already learned by faith in order to discover the truth. And so it is with faith itself. Faith must be relearned and rediscovered by logic. Logic is the mature way to the truth. The truth loves logic.

------------ From now on, please capitalize the word "Good" as in "Goodness" as oppose to "good" as in "very good" It is time to relearn our faith anew. These words and ideas were passed unto this most flawed human being. I am just passing them along. God works in mysterious ways, but the one thing for sure is that his will will be done. ---------------
