Nato's Seminar on Maritime Security

The regional command of Nato in south-Atlantic, based in Portugal is holding this July 10-12, its annual seminar on maritime security, with the participation of several countries.

Major themes to be covered by the technical seminar include human factors in disasters, risk management, role and features of maritime forces, NATO exercises planning, supplies, safety of copters flights over seas, security communication, air and sub-marine security in NATO exercises.

Officers from Albania, Rumania, Slovania and Sweden are attending the seminar. Morocco will also be attending.
