A call to cancel the Jewish Law Of Return

Originally published

The Palestinian al-Awda "Return" center which takes London as a headquarters called in a statement on Tuesday for canceling the Jewish Law Of Return ( Where Israel grants Jews the right of return to their promised homeland of Palestine). A law which is considered by the statement as contradictory to right, justice and the law.

The statement which was circulated in London said that the Israeli Knesset, 50 years ago enacted an " oppressive law" which perpetuated a racist policy when it approved the Jewish Law Of Return, which says that each and every Jew has the right to emigrate to Israel, beside the nationality law which gives the Jewish emigrant the right to acquire the Israeli identity as soon as he returns to Israel.

The statement explained that this Israeli Knesset law was materialized by committing very ugly massacres against the secure Palestinians who were uprooted from their homes and country to the Jews by means of force and were obliged to do so.

The statement called on the western world to work for preserving the rights of the Palestinian people, to honor their identity and halting the Zionist racism. It also called on the UN to honor its resolutions through implementing resolutions released stating the right of return to the Palestinian refugees.
