Gabonese official delegation to visit Morocco next week
A ministerial delegation of Gabon, led by state minister of foreign affairs and cooperation Jean Ping, is expected in Morocco this June 4-8 for a work and friendship visit.
The Gabonese officials will meet several members of the Moroccan government over cooperation between the two African countries.
A statement of the Moroccan foreign affairs and cooperation ministry underscores the longstanding excellent relations between the two countries, as evidenced by the exchange of high-level visits such as a visit to Libreville in June 1999 of premier Abderrahmane Youssoufi and a delegation of several ministers, members of parliament and private economic operators.
The Gabonese delegation comprises the defense, agriculture and trade, tourism, industrial development and handicraft ministers, in addition to other officials and experts.
