Israeli president prefers Israeli withdrawal from south Lebanon according to an agreement
Israeli President Ezra Weisman said that he had preferred an Israeli withdrawal from South Lebanon through an agreement between Israel and the sides concerned in the region. In an interview with the Israeli army radio on Tuesday, he added he feels deep pain for what members of the SLA members received, while fleeing from South Lebanon.
Weisman called on the Israeli government to settle members of those militias especially those who directly collaborated with the Israeli occupation army during its presence in South Lebanon.
