Lebanese towns return back to homeland

Originally published

The Lebanese citizens of the town of Qantara and al-Tineh on Sunday headed to their own towns, liberated, after the Israeli withdrawal together with their supported Lahd militias surrounding the town.

Lebanese resistance sources said the Israeli forces and their Lahd militia withdrew on Sunday from the four positions of al-Qantara, Salaa, Qesseir and al-Muheisbat.

In the last few days, the Lebanese national resistance intensified their attacks on these positions.

In this context, Lebanese Prime Minister Salim al-Hoss has confirmed that Lebanon will deal with any Israeli withdrawal from the Lebanese territories that excludes Shebaa farms as re-deployment not as withdrawal.

In remarks he made to the London- based al-Wassat in its recent issue, the Lebanese Prime Minister said Shebaa farms are Lebanese land and Lebanon has the right to fight to regain them.

He stressed that Lebanon will not guard Israel boundaries when israel withdraws.

Meantime, the secretary general of the Hizbullah party Hassan Nasrullah has announced as from Sunday, Shebaa farms have become a scene of the resistance operation as other occupied areas of the Lebanese lands. Marking the anniversary of kidnapping Abu Ali Mustafa al-Deirani, Nasrullah said it is the resistance's right to do whatever to liberate the land and release prisoners. He called on Israel to free all prisoners before withdrawal from the South Lebanon.

Nasrullah indicated that the pro-Israeli militias have three choices either to withdraw with the Israelis, to surrender themselves to the Lebanese judiciary, or the resistance will tail them because Israel is not allowed to leave " mines’ in the region."
