Israeli official: Hamas starts new method that qualifies it to be a partner in the peace process

General Ami Ayalon, outgoing commander of the Israeli internal security body, said he feels a change in the Palestinian resistance movement (Hamas), saying that the Hamas movement started on a new path, qualifying it to be a partner in the peace process in the future.

The Israeli authorities imposed yesterday a security closure on Gaza and the West Bank until tomorrow during celebrations of the establishment of Israel in 1948, while some Palestinian cities in the West Bank witnessed separate confrontations amid protests to express solidarity with the Palestinian prisoners in Israeli prisons.
