Syrian -Turkish trade committee meets today in Damascus

Meetings of the Syrian- Turkish joint committee are due to start today under the chairmanship of Syrian Minister of Economy Muhammad al-Imadi and Turkish Minister of State for Economic Affairs Recep Onal, who arrived in Damascus on Sunday evening.

On the sidelines of the meetings of the committee, the Turkish trade and industrial exhibition will be opened under the title "Made in Turkey."

It is organized by the Syrian exhibition committee and the Turkish Toyab committee at the city of the Damascus International fair on May 8 through 12, with the participation of a big delegation of Turkish businessmen.

On Tuesday a seminar will be held dealing with issues connected to the Turkish economy, future expectations, Syrian- Turkish trade relations, the status of the Syrian economy, and the conditions of foreign trade and investment laws in Syria.
