New accusation by Sudanese president against al-Turabi

Sudanese President Omar al-Bashir has accused the secretary general of the ruling national conference Hassan al-Turabi of conspiring against the ruling system and voiced his determination to take decisive measures against him.

Al-Bashir's statements came in conclusion of a meeting for the leaders of the national conference opened on Thursday in al-Khartoum.

Worthy mentioning al-Bashir had quitted al-Turabi from the presidency of the national council ( the parliament) on December, 1999 and announced the state of emergency, but al-Turabi kept his post as the secretary general for the national conference.
