UNRWA denies having plans to end its services

Originally published

UNRWA denied in a statement having plans to end the agency's services toward the Palestinian refugees and to convey its responsibilities to the countries hosting these refugees, whose number reached 3.6 million, until a permanent and comprehensive solution is reached for their problem.

The statement issued on the 50th anniversary of the agency's establishment said there is no intention from any of the member countries in the agency to end the agency's services before end of the problem, referring to the Palestinian refugees' efforts and adherence to returning home.

The international agency presents its services in Jordan, Syria, Lebanon, Gaza and the West Bank.
