Moroccan association denounces Israeli attacks against Lebanon
The Moroccan association of support to the Palestinian people struggle (AMSLP) denounced Israeli attacks against Lebanon as "a crime against humanity" and called for trying Zionist leaders at an international court.
The association called Arabs and Muslims to oppose the aggression and to morally and materially support Palestine and Lebanon.
Last week, Morocco voiced concerns over Israel's attacks against the Lebanese territory and against unarmed civilian targets and infrastructure and regretted that at a time the whole world was expecting a fair and overall solution to the middle east conflict following the recent detente in the peace process and the launch of the negotiations between Israel and Syria, there is a military escalation in south Lebanon and violation of the April 1996 agreement forbidding raids against civilians.
Israeli planes attacked south Lebanon and raided civilian targets, in total violation of the 1996 agreements that ban warring sides from attacking civilian targets.
Anger at Israeli attacks on Lebanon mounted among Arab and Islamic states.
