Arab - Israeli peace group to meet in May

Originally published

The Arab - Israeli international alliance for peace decided to convene its second conference for peace in the cities of Tel Aviv and Ramallah in May with the participation of representatives of Arab states that hold offices for commercial representation with Israel.

The head of Cairo's group for peace, Salah Basuni, said the second conference will discuss three issues concerning the post-peace conceptions of mutual security for all parties without exceptions or distinctions, the issue of the culture of peace as well as the future of the city of Jerusalem.

The invitation to participate in the meetings will be addressed to nearly 250 Arab and international figures from Tunisia, Morocco and Qatar-- the countries that hold offices for commercial representation with Israel-- and representatives of the United Nations, the European Union, the USA, Russia and the US organization Peace Now.
