Lebanese Parliament deplores Syrian accountability act

The Lebanese Foreign Relations' Committee at the Parliament has stressed that what is called US Congressional "Syria Accountability Act" is a political act with no base in international Law. In a statemen yesterday, it said this act is an interference in internal affairs and targets the Syrian - Lebanese relations stressing that the Syrian presence in Lebanon is a legitimate and temporal one and it gives stability to the region.
